Product Overview
Floating ball valves are an important type of valve and are widely used in fields such as petrochemicals and long-distance pipelines. The closing element of a floating ball valve is a spherical body with holes (or a part of a sphere). The spherical body rotates with the valve stem to achieve the opening or closing of the valve.
Among various valves, the flow resistance of ball valves is the lowest. When the full-diameter ball valve is opened, the ball body passage, the valve body passage, and the connecting pipe diameter are all equal and form a single diameter. The medium can flow through almost without any loss.
The floating ball valve can be fully closed or opened by rotating 90°. It operates quickly. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specifications, the ball valve is smaller in size and lighter in weight, making it easier for pipeline installation.
