Working principle
The structure of the CS41H-3NL vertical free-floating ball type steam trap is simple. It only has a stainless steel hollow float inside, which serves as both the float and the closing element. There are no easily damaged parts, and the service life is long. When the device is just started, air and low-temperature condensate water appear in the pipeline. The bimetallic automatic air discharge element pushes the float away from the valve seat, opening the valve, and expelling the non-condensable gas. The low-temperature condensate water flows into the steam trap, and the float rises, and the condensate water is quickly discharged. The device quickly raises the temperature. Before the temperature in the pipeline rises to the saturation temperature, the bimetallic automatic air discharge element changes its shape due to temperature rise and straightens out. The steam trap enters the normal operating condition. The float regulates the valve hole flow with the liquid level. When the condensate water stops flowing in, the float approaches the valve seat and closes the valve. The valve seat of the vertical free-floating ball type steam trap is always below the liquid level, forming a water seal, and there is no steam leakage.

1. It is not affected by pressure, temperature or fluctuations in condensate water flow. It continuously discharges water as soon as there is water present, with stable performance. The lower limit of overcooling is 0℃, enabling the heating equipment to achieve an appropriate working efficiency.
