Product Overview
The fully automatic backwash filter is a type of filter that can filter using low-quality water. It has the function of automatically backwashing to quickly remove impurities. It is usually installed in front of heat exchangers, air conditioning systems or actuators, and performs irregular backwashing to remove impurities. It can be used for the pre-treatment of raw water in drinking water plants, the treatment of industrial water, the pre-treatment and final treatment of domestic water, and the recovery of useful substances from industrial wastewater, etc.
Product features
1. No supporting structure is required, saving installation space.
2. No bypass is required, thus saving investment costs;
3. It can maintain a high flow rate while also having a low pressure drop;
4. Installation is flexible. It can be installed horizontally as well as vertically.
Working principle
1. Normal operating condition
When the manual butterfly valve is opened, the valve plate plane is parallel to the axis of the cylinder, (and at this time, the wrench is also parallel to the cylinder axis) the sewage valve is closed. At this point, the water flows directly from the inlet into the internal part of the filter net cylinder, passes through the filter net for filtration, and then is discharged from the outlet.
2. Backwashing operation status
When the manual butterfly valve is closed, the plane of the valve plate is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder (at this time, the wrench rotates 90 degrees and is perpendicular to the cylinder axis). Open the sewage valve. At this point, the water flows from the inlet into the front end of the filter net cylinder. Due to the closed butterfly valve, the water is blocked by the valve plate and can only enter the outside of the filter cylinder through the front mesh holes. Most of it flows out from the outlet. However, because the sewage outlet is open, the water in the rear section of the filter cylinder is discharged and the pressure drops. Therefore, some water is backflowed into the net cylinder through the mesh holes at the rear section of the filter from the filter cylinder rear section, thereby achieving the purpose of rinsing the impurities adhering to the inner wall of the net cylinder from the outside of the filter net. The impurities and sewage are discharged from the sewage outlet.
